A warning of severe air pollution was issued for Seoul on Jan. 15 due to the accumulation of fine dust (PM 2.5) dust particles. Citizens were encouraged to use public transportation, with free rides being offered during peak commuting times (from the first train until 9 am, and 6pm – 9pm). These included all village and city buses, and city subway lines. (by Baek So-ah, staff photographer)
