The photographer Ko Ju-seo discussed his work, “Korean Peninsula Topography Photo,” which was displayed at the exhibition room on the first floor of the Yeongwol County Post Office on Jan. 30. The photo shows a landscape in Yeongwol County that has the shape of the Korean Peninsula. Ko has been photographing the area for 18 years, and this particular photo has not been artificially modified in any way. He also planted the Mukunghwa flowers in the photo. “I decided to prepare this exhibition after hearing the news that South and North Korean athletes would make a joint entrance to the Pyeongchang Olympics,” he said.
