[Photo] “One Million Korea Chorus” holds first performance on Independence Movement Day

The 2019 Korean Cultural Capital Seoul Committee’s “One Million Korea Chorus” held its first performance on the steps of the Sejong Performing Arts Center on Mar. 1. Both the senior and children’s choirs came together to perform songs such as, “Arirang” and “Beautiful World.”

The “One Million Korea Chorus” is an effort to bring one million citizens from both South and North Korea to sing together in Gwanghwamun Plaza on Mar. 1, 2019, which marks the 100th anniversary of Korea’s independence movement against the Japanese colonial government.
