A member of the People’s Democracy Party holds a one-person demonstration calling for the arrest of Lee Myung-bak outside of the former president’s house in the Gangnam District of Seoul on Mar. 11. Lee is suspected of receiving roughly $10 million in bribes during his time as president, and has been summoned to speak with investigators on Mar. 14. The demonstrator’s sign also makes reference to suspected graft that occurred during the implementation of policies such as the Four Major Rivers Project and “resource diplomacy,” which saw large investments made by public-private South Korean companies in developing nations.
