[Photo] Floating solar panel farm begins operations on Gangwha Island

Incheon’s first floating solar panel farm began regular operations on Mar. 28. The solar farm, which was built by the Korea Rural Community Corporation, is located in the Giljeong Reservoir in Gwanghwa Island. It was built at a cost of 1.3 billion won (US$1.2 million) and will generate 500kW of electricity, which is enough to power 142 homes each year. (provided by Incheon City)
