The Seoul city government announced on Apr. 2 that due to increasing problems with litter, take-out cups will no longer be allowed on Seoul buses. Eating and drinking while riding buses will also be subject to a fine. However, food that does not come wrapped will continue to be allowed, provided that riders don’t eat it on the bus.
