[Photo] Ministry of Education announces pollution measures

The Ministry of Education announced on Apr. 5 that it will take a series of measures to protect students’ health from the increasing PM 2.5 pollution that is afflicting South Korea. The Ministry announced that within three years, all elementary school and kindergarten classrooms would be equipped with air filtration or ventilation equipment. In addition, students whose health is particularly susceptible to air pollution will have “pollution absences” excused. The photo shows two citizens looking at the skyline of Seoul from Mt.
