Cherry blossoms are beginning to bloom throughout South Korea, signaling the start of spring. On Apr. 5, several citizens walked through the rain under a spectacular canopy of cherry blossoms in the Yeongdeungpo district of Seoul. This weekend, the annual cherry blossom festival will be held at Yeouido Park, and traffic in the area will be restricted. The festival will run from Apr. 6 to Apr. 13.

Traffic restrictions will also take effect in the Jongno district for the “2018 No Cars in Jongno” and “Bicycle Parade.” On Apr. 8, no cars will be allowed during the day in the entire area.
