[Photo] “The Questions of 304 people”

A memorial for the victims of the Sewol ferry disaster called, “The Questions of 304 people,” was held at various sites in the city of Gwangju. The 304 refers to the number of people who died in the sinking. Citizens gathered 304 pairs of shoes and displayed them in the shape of the Sewol ferry. The displays were created at the city’s 5.18 Democracy Square, West District Cultural Center, and the Saebyul Elementary School.
