Students of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS)have rendered the text of the Panmunjeom Declaration for Peace, Prosperity and Unification of the Korea Peninsula into five languages: English, Mandarin, Japanese, Russian and French. The translations were done by students who are majoring in each respective language and were posted on the university’s Facebook page. The Panmunjeom Declaration was the result of the Inter-Korean Summit between South Korean President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un on Apr. 27 at the House of Peace in Panmunjeom. It lays out a roadmap for the two Koreas to reconcile hostilities and work toward peaceful, mutual prosperity. (HUFS Student Association)
