Election Day in South Korea is a national holiday, meaning most people have the day off to go and vote. President Moon Jae-in spent his election day hiking Mount Bukhan, which is behind the Blue House, with his dog, Maru, said a Blue House official in a phone call with Yonhap News on June 13. President Moon was spotted by a number of people during his trek, many of whom requested photos that they then posted on social media.
