[Photo] Former comfort woman vows to live 200 years in order to solve issue of sexual slavery

This year’s Liberation Day, Aug. 15, fell on a Wednesday, the day when civic demonstrators gather every week in front of the Japanese Embassy in Seoul to protest the Japanese government’s stance on comfort women and military sexual slavery. During the 1348th of such demonstrations, former comfort woman Lee Yong-su made a speech in which she vowed to “live to 200 years old,” so that she “can fully resolve the comfort women issue” before returning to her sisters in heaven.
