Hyundai Motor Company has announced that it will constructed a massive solar energy complex in the open-air storage facility at its Ulsan factory. The complex will be able to produce 100MW of energy. On Aug. 30, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power and Hyundai Motor Company signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) at the Lotte Hotel in Ulsan regarding the construction of a solar energy complex.
On the other hand, Korea East-West Power Corporation signed a joint agreement with the Jogye Order of Buddhism regarding the use of the religious order’s unused land for the development of clean energy projects.
