[Photo] Samsung Electronics submits over 1,500 false reports of worker assembling since 2013

Samsung Electronics’ Giheung semiconductor factory has been found to have submitted over 1,500 false reports of workers assembling since 2013, although no assemblies were conducted. The false reports were a part of an effort to prevent workers from organizing into protests and demonstrations. Two false reports were filed in 2018, thereby continuing the company’s dark practice of suppressing worker organization and union activity. (graphic by Kim Jia)
