[Photo] Former US Army Yongsan Garrison to be open to public for first time

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) will be launching a bus tour of key facilities within the US Army’s Yongsan Garrison in Seoul, effectively opening to the public a plot of land that’s been forbidden to average South Koreans for 114 years. There will be six tours within the remainder of 2018 and will highlight facilities of historical and cultural importance within the garrison. The time frame for signing up for tours will last from Nov. 12 to 20. Tickets will be sold online on the Yongsan Culture Center website (www.ysac.or.kr). (provided by MOLIT)
