Seoul National University Hospital’s Adverse Drug Reaction Center has found that a common influenza medication known as Tamiflu induces an abnormally high rate of hallucinations and other side effects among minors aged 20 and under. The hospital issued a public advisory on Dec. 3 cautioning against administering the drug to children and minors. Tamiflu has been a popular drug since the 2009 outbreak of the swine flu. Of all the test subjects who experienced negative side effects from Tamiflu, 90% were aged 20 and under, while 10% were over 60. (Hankyoreh archives)
