Ven. Wonhaeng, the President of the Jogye Order of Buddhism, announced during a press conference in Seoul on Jan. 16 that the Jogye Order will be actively pursuing inter-Korean cooperation projects throughout 2019. One of those projects is a gathering at Shingaesa Temple on Mt. Kumgang, where Wonhaeng is pushing to hold a temple stay program, saying 2019 will be “a year of inter-Korean Buddhist exchange.” (provided by the Jogye Order)
