[Photo] Outbreak of foot and mouth disease confirmed at dairy farm in Anseong, first since 2017

An outbreak of foot and mouth disease has been confirmed at a dairy farm in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province. This is the first confirmed outbreak of foot and mouth disease during the winter of 2018-19. The outbreak was confirmed after quarantine officials with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs analyzed the farm’s fodder on Jan. 28. All 126 of the farm’s cattle were exterminated in order prevent a further outbreak.
