Profits from a collection of oral accounts taken from survivors of the Sewol Ferry tragedy of April 2014 have been used to purchase coal briquettes to distribute among lower income neighborhoods, which often depend on coal briquettes for warmth during the winter. The book, “Spring Will Come Again” (Changbi Publishers), was published in 2016, and contains the oral accounts of 11 students who survived the disastrous sinking and volunteered to distribute the coal briquettes.
