The Seoul Metropolitan Government will be establishing six forests throughout the Han River area to fight off the negative effects of smog and fine-particle pollution. The city announced on Feb. 6 that the six forests will comprise around 84,000 trees that are known for their anti-pollutant properties. The trees will be planted in six of the major parks that sit along the Han River, and are expected to be opened to the public by the end of June. (provided by the Seoul Metropolitan Government)
