[Photo] Moon consoles family of Taen Power Plant victim

On Feb. 18, South Korean President Moon Jae-in met with the family of Kim Yong-gyun, a subcontractor worker at Taean Power Plant who died in a tragic accident on Dec. 10, 2018, while working a solo shift, at the Blue House. Offering his condolences, Moon told Kim’s family that he will work to ensure that companies put safety ahead of profit. Kim’s parents urged the president to punish those responsible for the corporate carelessness that indirectly led to Kim’s untimely death at the age of 24. The photo shows Moon with Kim’s mother.
