[Photo] Plans for Busan Opera House in crisis

The Busan Opera House that the Busan city government has been planning on constructing is in violation of property laws, says Lee Seong-suk, a Busan city council member. In December 2016 the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and the city of Busan signed an agreement to utilize a portion of the city’s port for construction of the opera house, but Lee pointed out that it is illegal for a local government to donate property to a larger state government organization.
