To honor the victims of the Sewol ferry sinking five years after the tragedy, there will be a commemorative exhibition that also highlights safety issues where the memorial tents used to stand in Seoul’s Gwanghwamun Square. The tents were first erected in July 2014 and were taken down four years and nine months later on Mar. 18. The tents have since been replaced with permanent wooden structures.
