[Photo] Missing student’s shoes still waiting for owner

It’s been five years since the Sewol ferry tragedy, but the remains of five students who died in the accident have yet to be recovered. At the pier of Paengmok Port off the coast of the island of Jindo, South Jeolla Province, someone placed three pairs of soccer shoes. They were placed there by the mother of Park Yeong-in, a student who lost his life to the tragedy. Park’s dream was to become a professional soccer player.
