The opening ceremony to an exhibition honoring the late women’s rights activist Kim Bok-dong, a former comfort woman who became an advocate of global peace and women’s rights, was held at the Women and War Museum in Seoul on May 9. Kim passed away on Jan. 28. The exhibition features her personal belongings and photographs of her activism, and will continue until June 8. (Park Jong-shik, staff photographer)
