Three intermediate egret chicks have been captured hatching near the Taehwa River in the Ulsan area. On May 10, the city of Ulsan publicly released video footage of the three chicks hatching and nursing. The chicks first hatched on May 5, and started developing white fur on their bodies by May 8. Intermediate egrets usually lay their eggs between April and August, around three to five at a time.
