The recent crash of a KF-16D fighter jet in the South Korean Air Force has been determined to be caused by a failure in the fuel supply to the engine’s combustion chamber, causing the engine to malfunction. On Feb. 27, a KF-16D fighter jet crashed into the West Sea (Yellow Sea) just 13 minutes after takeoff. A spokesperson for the Air Force announced that KF-16D flights will be resumed starting May 31 after the necessary safety inspections and repairs.
