[Photo] Minister who set fire to Douglas MacArthur statue in Incheon sentenced to one year in prison

A Christian minister with anti-American sentiments has been sentenced to one year in prison for setting fire to a statue of General Douglas MacArthur in Incheon Jayu (Freedom) Park and organizing an illegal rally. The Incheon District Court has convicted the minister, who remains anonymous, on charges of defacing public property and violating public assembly laws. The court added that the minister’s actions were “audacious and carefully planned.”
