[Photo] Man arrested for beating his Vietnamese wife

A South Korean man in his 30s has been arrested for physically abusing his wife, who immigrated to Korea from Vietnam. The man is also accused of physically hurting his two-year-old son in the process of abusing his wife. The photo shows the man at the Mokpo branch of the Gwangju District Court on July 8. In an interview with the press, the man said he had grown “emotional” due to the language barrier between him and his wife.
