More than 700 South Korean civic groups gathered in Seoul to denounce the Shinzo Abe administration on Aug. 10. Among them were the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) and the Korean YMCA. Demonstrators in opposition to Abe have been gathered in Seoul every Saturday since July 20. Despite the current heat wave, an estimated 15,000 showed up to the demonstration.
