Pyeongchang Olympic Stadium, which has remained a neglected ghost town since the 2018 Winter Olympics, will be utilized as a professional for-profit sports center. The Gangwon Provincial Government announced its plans to convert the stadium into a useful, profitable facility during a press conference on Sept. 24. The stadium’s three facilities under discussion are the speed skating rink, the hockey center, and the Olympic sliding center. The photo shows Gangwon Province Governor Choi Moon-soon during the press conference.
