On the morning of Jan. 1, the first day of the New Year, visitors from South Korea, Japan and local Chinese tourists lined up to get a glimpse of Heaven Lake (Cheonji), which was wrapped in clouds. The visitors and tourists were part of a trip to Baekdu Mountain on the 100th anniversary of the birth of Korean poet Yun Dong-ju, which was organized by the Hankyoreh Foundation for Reunification and Culture.
