Following the successful conclusion of the initial round of inter-Korean dialogue last week, representatives from South and North once again met at Panmunjeom to hold working level discussions concerning the dispatch of North Korean performance artists groups to the Pyeongchang Olympics. A senior official with the Unification Ministry announced on Jan. 15 that, “general working-level discussions began this morning at 10: 11 am.” This round of talks was held at the Unification Building on the North Korean side of Panmunjeom, with the primary focus of discussions being the participation of North Korean performance artists, including the famous Moranbong Band.
