[Photo] Unified Korean bobsled team to be formed to test track conditions

The International Bobsled and Skeleton Federation posted a notice on its website announcing that it planned to form a unified Korean bobsled team for training and track testing ahead of the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. The team would be created and coached by IBSF President Ivo Ferriani and Vice President Darrin Steele, who are former bobsledders themselves. “The athletes must fully trust and cooperate with each other in the narrowest of spaces,” said Ferriani. “A mixed team would bring the athletes of both countries very close together.”
