The unified Korean women’s hockey team began practicing together at the Jincheon National Training Center at in North Chungcheong Province on Jan. 25. Coach Sarah Murray used the training to assess how the North Korean players would fit into the unified team. “The players are different from how they look on the outside. We are one team and winning is our single goal.” At least three North Korean players will be included among the roster of 22 players for each of the team’s games at the Pyeongchang Olympics. The team will play a warm-up match against Sweden on Feb. 4 and plays its first Olympic game against Switzerland on Feb. 10.
