A group of South Korean musicians, including Cho Yong-pil, Lee Sun-hee, and Yoon Do-hyun will give a public performance in Pyongyang on Apr. 1 at the East Pyongyang Grand Theatre. Two days later, the South Korean group will give a joint performance with their North Korean counterparts, including Hyun Song-wol, the director of the Samjiyon Orchestra, at the Pyongyang Arena. The two-show series, which will feature about 160 musicians, is called, “Spring Comes,” and is seen as South Korea’s response to the Samjiyon Orchestra performances in Seoul and Gangneung prior to the Pyeongchang Olympics in February.
