Former German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder attended the Seoul City Inter-Korean Cooperation Forum at Seoul City Hall on May 2, just days after the inter-Korean summit on Apr. 27. Schröder commented that although the path to reunification is long and arduous, South and North Korea are headed the right way. "If Seoul and Pyongyang promote sisterhood, it will be a step towards unification," he advised.
