[Photo] Pompeo visits North Korea again ahead of North Korea-US summit

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo took his second visit to North Korea on May 9, about 40 days after his first, to continue preparatory talks for the upcoming North Korea-US summit. US President Donald Trump announced on May 8, during a White House press conference in which he revealed his intentions to withdraw from the US nuclear agreement with Iran. Pompeo’s visit coincided with North Korea leader Kim Jong-un’s announcement that three US detainees were going to be released. Pompeo shakes hands with Kim in the above photo during their first meeting, which took place in early April.
