Ministry of Unification Spokesperson Baik Tae-hyun announced during a briefing on May 15 that high-level inter-Korean talks would be held on May 16 at the House of Peace in Panmunjeom, the site of the Apr. 27 Inter-Korean Summit between South Korean President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. The officials are expected to discuss specific follow-up measures for implementing agreements of the Panmunjeom Declaration for Peace, Prosperity and Unification of the Korean Peninsula, including a reunion of separated families scheduled for Aug. 15.
