The South Korean government has confirmed that North Korea has received wooden caskets from the UN Command in Panmunjeom for the repatriation of US MIA/POW from the Korean War. The remains are expected to be transported to the US on July 27, the 65th anniversary of the Korean Armistice Agreement, which officially suspended the bloody conflict. The repatriation was part of the agreement US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un reached during their Singapore summit on June 12.
