The first round of the 21st reunion for divided Korean families took place on Aug. 20 at the Mt. Kumgang meeting hall in North Korea. To celebrate the occasion, a feast of food and drink was on offer while the reunited families embraced and talked to each other for the first time since being separated during the Korean War, 67 years ago. The group reunion was followed by individual reunions where family members could speak to each other in private.
