The final day of the second round of the 21st reunion for divided Korean families took place at Mt. Kumgang Hotel on Aug. 26. After being reunited for the first time in 65 years, reunion participants shed an endless deluge of tears as they bid their final farewells to family members they may never see again. Even after boarding their bus back home, people held on tightly to their family members’ hands through the bus windows, not letting go until the last possible moment. (photo pool)
