The 2018 International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Shooting Championships will be held in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province, from Sept. 2 to 14. The North Korean team set to compete in the tournament arrived in South Korea on Aug. 31 via Gimhae International Airport. The delegation comprised 22 North Koreans, including 12 athletes and 10 executives. Instead of going home after competing in the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia, they flew to South Korea via Beijing for the ISSF World Shooting Championships. The above photos show the North Korean team arriving in South Korea as well as the Arirang Cheering Squad. (provided by Changwon City and the Arirang Cheering Squad)
