[Photo] Saying goodbye after competing as one in the Asian Games

Athletes in the unified Korean team for the dragon boat races in the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia bid each other farewell on Aug. 28 after competing together. The North Korean athletes were the first to leave for home. The unified dragon boat team won the gold medal in the women’s 500m event, a bronze medal in the women’s 250m events, and a bronze medal in the men’s 1,000m event. South and North Korean sports officials are expected to formulate a unified Korean team to compete in the 2018 ICF Dragon Boat World Championships in Gainesville, Georgia, in September.
