South and North Korea ceased all hostile activity by land, sea and air around the Military Demarcation Line (MDL) at exactly midnight on Nov. 1. The cessation of such military activity was in accordance with the inter-Korean military agreement reached during the summit between South Korean President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un on Sept. 19 in Pyongyang.
