[Photo] Ri Jong-hyok receives gift of novel written by his father during visit to Gyeonggi Province

Ri Jong-hyok, vice chairman of the North Korean Asia-Pacific Peace Committee, who is currently visiting South Korea for an international forum on peace and prosperity in Goyang hosted by Gyeonggi Province and the Asia-Pacific Exchange Association, received a gift from Gyeonggi Governor Lee Jae-myung. The gift was the iconic novel by the Korean writer Ri Ki-yong, Hometown. Ri Ki-yong was Ri Jong-hyok’s father and migrated to the North after Korea’s liberation from Japanese occupation.
