[Photo] N. Korea announces release of US citizen who entered country illegally

North Korea has decided to release a US citizen who entered the country illegally through the North Korea-China border. The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) announced on Nov. 16 that the North Korean government has decided to release US citizen Bryce Byron Lawrence after detaining him for a month, saying Lawrence would be “deported” to his homeland. Lawrence allegedly entered North Korea in an effort to bridge the gap between the US and North Korea.
