[Photo] Panmunjom tours to begin on South Korean side on May 1

To implement the terms of the inter-Korean Comprehensive Military Agreement (CMA) made on Sept. 19, 2018, tours of the South Korean side of Panmunjom will begin on May 1, the Ministry of National Defense (MND) announced on Apr. 29. Although tours were originally planned to begin in October last year, they have been postponed until now. The MND added that military authorities are cooperating with the UN Command to ensure that Panmunjom transforms from a symbol of division into a place where visitors can learn the importance of peace and reconciliation.
