[Photo] Chuncheon invites famous Pyongyang restaurant to local noodle festival

The city of Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, has invited the famous North Korean restaurant Okryu Restaurant, known for its Pyongyang-style cold noodles (naengmyeon), to its Dakgalbi (spicy chicken ribs) and Makguksu (buckwheat noodles) Festival. The city announced on May 20 that it sent its invitation to Okryu chefs via the Unification Ministry and the Inter-Korean Kangwon Association Council. It remains to be seen how Okryu will respond to the invitation. The photo shows a bowl of Pyongyang-style cold noodles.
