오바마 페북 가입…7시간만에 ‘좋아요 39만’

　버락 오바마 미국 대통령이 ‘페북’을 시작했다. 오바마 대통령의 페이스북 페이지는 개설 7시간 만에 38만명 이상이 ‘좋아요’(구독)를 눌렀다.

　오바마 대통령은 10일(한국시각) ‘대통령 오바마’(President Obama)라는 이름으로 계정을 개설했다. 그는 “안녕, 페이스북! 마침내 나도 페이지를 갖게 됐다. 이곳에서 우리가 직면한 많은 문제들에 대해 진지한 대화를 나눌 수 있기를 바란다”는 내용의 글로 페이스북을 시작했다.

　글과 함께 그는 백악관 뒷마당을 소개하는 동영상도 올렸다. 오바마는 영상에서 백악관 뒷뜰을 소개하면서 “여우나 매 같은 야생동물을 볼 때도 있다”며 “기후변화에 대응하기 위해 모두가 제 몫을 다해야 한다”는 말을 강조했다.

　오바마의 페이스북 개설은 백악관이 최근 소셜미디어를 통해 국민과 소통하려는 활동 중 하나로 평가된다. 그동안 ‘버락 오바마(Barach Obama)’라는 페이스북 페이지가 있었으나 이는 오바마를 지지하는 정치단체가 운영하는 계정이었다. 이번에 개설한 페이스북 페이지는 백악관에서 관리하는 오바마의 개인 계정이다.
